1. Our commitment
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse parts, check fitment, sign in, and complete a purchase on www.darrinsgarage.com. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our working target.
2. What we do
- Pages use headings, landmarks, a “Skip to content” link, labelled form fields, and text alternatives for images.
- Text and controls are checked for sufficient color contrast, visible keyboard focus, and touch-friendly sizes.
- Our cookie banner and settings window are built to work with a keyboard and screen readers, and closing them never accepts anything.
- We check key pages with automated tools and keyboard testing, and we fix issues as we find them.
3. Known limits
Accessibility work is ongoing and we do not claim that every page fully conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. Some parts of the shopping experience are provided by other companies, such as PayPal’s payment buttons and Google’s sign-in screens, and we cannot fully control their accessibility. Some manufacturer-supplied product images and descriptions may be less detailed than we would like.
