This policy covers www.darrinsgarage.com, operated by Darrin's Garage. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to parts@darrinsgarage.com or by phone at (251) 666-7317. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that hold data on your device, either until you remove it (local) or until you close the tab (session). We call all of them “cookies” below unless the difference matters.
3. The short version
- Necessary: we use a small set of cookies and browser storage that keep the store working: your cart, your selected vehicle, signing in, and remembering this choice. These do not need your consent and cannot be turned off here.
- Optional, only with your permission: one category, Analytics. It is off until you turn it on.
- Not used: advertising or marketing cookies, conversion or remarketing pixels, social-media pixels, session replay or heat-map tools, embedded videos, maps or social feeds. If this changes, this page and your choices will be updated before anything new loads.
4. Your choices
When you first visit (and again after your choice expires or the way we use optional technologies changes), a banner offers three equal choices: Accept All, Reject Optional, or Customize. Closing the settings window does not accept anything. You can review, change, or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer of every page, or with the button below.

- Accept All turns on every optional category listed in this policy (currently Analytics only).
- Reject Optional keeps all optional categories off. Shopping, signing in, and checkout work exactly the same.
- Customize lets you turn each optional category on or off and save.
- Withdrawing is as easy as choosing: turn Analytics off or select Reject Optional. Our server stops recording page views for you immediately.
Your choice is remembered for about 6 months in the site_consent cookie, then we ask again. A different website (for example another store domain) does not inherit your choice.

The optional table above is the only place optional data is collected. The storefront administration area, used only by staff, is separate and is not part of this visitor policy.
6. Third-party services and embeds
We do not load advertising, analytics, social or video scripts from other companies. These services are involved only when you use the related feature, and each has its own privacy terms:
- Google sign-in. If you choose Continue with Google, your browser is sent to Google to sign in. Google may use its own cookies on its pages. Nothing is sent to Google unless you click that button.
- PayPal checkout. After you sign in and open checkout, the page loads PayPal’s payment buttons from paypal.com. PayPal receives browser and device information and may set its own cookies to process payment and prevent fraud. We use it only to provide the payment you ask for.
- Product and brand images. Images are served from this website. When an image comes from our parts catalog provider, our servers retrieve it, so your browser does not contact that provider and your IP address is not shared with it. A product image that staff link from another website, if any, would load directly from that site, which would then see your IP address and browser details, as with any web image.
- Cloudflare. Cloudflare delivers this website and protects it from abuse, so it handles your requests as our hosting provider.
Fonts are served from this website, not from Google or any other font host.
7. Browser controls and their limits
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you delete the site_consent cookie we will ask for your choice again; if you block it, we cannot remember your choice and optional categories stay off. Blocking the necessary items above may stop the cart, sign-in, or checkout from working. Clearing your browser removes what is stored on your device; it does not remove data a provider already received, and we cannot delete cookies that other companies set on their own domains.
8. Privacy signals and your other rights
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. This website does not sell or share personal information and does not run targeted advertising, so the signal has nothing to switch off today; it does not turn optional analytics on, and it never overrides the choice you make here. Details about access, correction, deletion, and other rights are in the Privacy Policy.
9. Records of your choice
When you choose, we keep a minimal record so we can show how consent was handled: a random receipt ID, the website, which categories you accepted or rejected, the date, the notice version, and whether you used the banner or the settings window. It contains no IP address, device identifier, or account information, and is deleted after about 3 years.
10. Changes to this policy
If we add or change an optional technology or provider, we will update this page and ask for your choice again before it is used. Cosmetic edits do not reset your choice.
Change history
- October 12, 2026: First Cookie Policy. Optional analytics now requires your opt-in; the previous notice did not control anything. Google Fonts replaced with fonts served from this website.
